Murder leads to Goans-Nigerians clash at Porvorim

 

 

PANAJI: Goans and Nigerians clashed on Thursday at Porvorim following tension over the murder of a Nigerian national at Parra. The clash occurred after a Nigerian stopped a hearse carrying the body of the murdered Nigerian and other Nigerians who gathered at the spot took the body from the hearse and placed it on the road, paralyzing traffic on NH 17, at Porvorim.

Goa Tourism promotion to cost state Rs 17 crore in 2014
